Rayan’s journey toward self-healing was ignited after a decade-long career as a professional day trader, immersed in the fast-paced modern urban hustle. Despite projecting an image of success externally, within him brewed a deep-seated sense of worthlessness, insecurities and an imbalance of power and control, using external achievements to mask an internal void. His pursuit of validation from the external world led to cycles of numbing and overachieving, fuelled by unexpressed emotional turmoil and childhood traumas.
The pivotal turning point emerged during a life crisis, where Rayan found himself grappling with debilitating physical, mental, emotional conditions and spiritual disconnection. Having survived near death experiences, a moment of clarity sparked his exploration into the root of his agony, marking the beginning of his journey to integrate childhood wounds that had long shaped his reality.
Today, nestled amidst the majestic mountains of the Sacred Valley of Peru, Rayan is a Holistic Therapist, Ceremonialist and a Soul Guide and is currently apprenticing with Huachuma (San Pedro Cactus). His extensive training and experience spans Somatic Therapy, Soul Work, Relationship Coaching, Inner Child Integration, Ancestral Healing, Grief Counseling, Hypnotherapy, Yoga Therapy, QiGong, Men’s Work, Fire & Cacao Facilitation, Apprenticeship with Grief, Compassionate Inquiry and Community Work, allows him to employ an integrative therapeutic approach that offers invaluable support for individuals navigating through significant life transitions, attracting healthy relationships, working towards personal goals or creating a service based offering.
When not serving clients, Rayan cherishes family time with his wife and daughter, hiking up mountains, camping under the stars, adventuring to sacred sites, swimming in ice cold rivers or snuggling with their two dogs and cat. He also enjoys staying active with weight training, cardio, yoga and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, as well as expressing his creativity through photography, videography, art and playing the didgeridoo.
Rayan would describe himself as “full of life and in deep service to his family, his community, the earth and humanity”.
